Wednesday at 10:30 am "Freaky Friday", from City Hall to the Plaza Adolfo Suarez, was a tour conducted in a wheelchair, which was attended by the mayor and the councilors of the Municipal Corporation
On the occasion of the events planned to mark International Day of the Disabled, the City Sewer, through the Department of Social Welfare and "Sin Barreras" Association, at 10:30 am the tour began in chair Wheel, "Freaky Friday", from St. Peter's Square, across from City Hall, one of the sidewalks of the main street.
The tour was attended by the Mayor of Sewell, Joaquín Buendía, the Councillor for Social Welfare, Francisca Terol and councilors of the various municipal groups in the City Sewer.
During the tour the disabled in our municipality and belonging to the "Sin Barreras" Association, especially its president in Sewell, Sofia Balsalobre, got to meet the mayor, and the rest of the participants, the usual difficulties that often have on the day, especially for access to various commercial or public centers, taking note to improve and eliminate architectural barriers are few possible.
They also had the opportunity to participate in a basketball game, with the collaboration of two players and Murcia basketball player in a wheelchair, namely: Alberto Carrion, Sonia Ruiz and Manuel Teruel, and can check the municipal representatives with others they joined to participate the difficulty they have in this sport, but with a great spirit of effort, sacrifice, much training and overwhelming desire to prove how important they also to practice this sport and show society that they are the more interested in practice, teach, disseminate and compete well, even if with disabilities.
On this tour, by the President of the Association "Sin Barreras" Sofia Balsalobre which was presented at the last elections in the lists of the PSOE, also Pablo Lopez, who was also on the list, but the Popular Party was.
