The Federation of Peñas festive presented the 2015 Award Oinokoe Eagles Carnival (04/11/2015)

The "Infanta Elena" Sewer Cultural Center hosted on the night of Saturday, October 31, the IX Annual Gala of the Federation of Peñas festive and Cultural Rights, with the delivery of OINOKOE awards ceremony was chaired by the President of the Federation, Juan Sornichero and Sewer Mayor Joaquin Buendia, who was accompanied by the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Maria Luisa Martinez Leon.

In this edition and by unanimous agreement of all the rocks, the Oinokoe award went to the hands of Jose Alonso, representing the Federation of Peñas parties Eagles Carnival.

One of the novelties of this edition has been delivering first-Normatex Golden Broom (sponsoring company), a peñista with more than 40 years standing as peñista, Vicente Cano Lopez, peñista since his father, Hipólito Cano, one of the founders of the rocks in Sewell, founded in 1971 the Rock "The Chache and his nephews" in recognition of the many years as peñista, to keep alive the flame in the same family, where everything type of family, brothers, sons, grandsons, granddaughters, etc.

The President expressed his gratitude for the award.

The event included speeches by the president of the Federation, thanked the collaboration taken by all clubs and club members and highlighting their achievements harvested last year, announced that this Gala closes a festive all year, but opens the 2016 with new hopes and new project, always thanking the collaboration of the City Sewer, but also companies close to our parties and tremendous will to collaboration that binds Normatex.

The Mayor closed the ceremony by congratulating all the winners and distinguished from the IX Gala, highlighting the importance to have Sewer festive rocks for his contribution to the festivities of May.
