Sewer celebrated Columbus Day with a tribute to the flag and dropped by Spain (10/10/2010)

Sewer performed on the morning in the square Adolfo Suarez, an act of homage to the flag and the Fallen for Spain and for the celebration of Columbus Day.

All successful participation and demonstration of affection and gratitude of the people of Sewell with the Air Force, especially with the military Air Base Sewer, in absolute harmony of coexistence between civil society and military families who have been formed for 60 years of existence thereof.

The planned program began with military punctuality, entering training at 11:40 am from the street to the Plaza Mayor Adolfo Suárez to adopt the same position.

At 12 am with the arrival of Colonel Gallego to the plaza, the official ceremony began with the transfer of eleven military and opening of the national flag of 54 square meters (6 x 9 meters), which has been raised in the mast height of 25 meters was installed in the square last year, to the sound of the national anthem first and subsequent interpretation of the Air Force anthem.

Emotional, no doubt, was the moment that the tribute was paid to the Fallen for Spain with the interpretations of the Music Unit of the General Air Academy in San Javier, Death is not the end and the Touch of Prayer with one pass of the aircraft carrying the paratroopers who later have been released and a shot saved by the bite he formed with the other military personnel.
