Hundreds of people in the demonstration against violence, organized by the Alcantarilla City Hall, after the aggression suffered by a monitor of the dining service of the Ntra. Sra. De la Asunción College (23/10/2017)

There the battered monitor, Marta, followed the guidelines of a Manifesto, which she had prepared for the end of the demonstration

The demonstration convened by Alcantarilla Town Hall for the afternoon of Monday, departed at seven o'clock from the Garden of Vistabella, along with hundreds of people, walking along Calle Carmen, Martinez Campos Avenue, Calle Mayor until St. Peter's Square, the doors of the City Hall, where Marta MD monitored the attack on 9 October, read a manifesto that she prepared to culminate this day in which the unanimous voice was "No to Violence" and "Education and Respect in our Society ", slogans of the two banners that led the same.

With one of the banners and opening the demonstration, together with Marta, met their parents, the director of the school, members of different associations and groups of our municipality, as well as the president of FAMPAMA (Federation of Parent Associations of Alumnos de Alcantarilla), Salvador Ruiz Baeza.

And in the next banner with the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, the secretary general of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Maria Robles, Councilor for Education, Juan Manuel Gomez, together with the regional deputies of Citizens Juan Jose Molina and de Podemos, Miguel García, along with the spokesmen of the municipal political groups and members of the Municipal Corporation.

The demonstration had been called against the violence after the aggression suffered by Marta, monitor of the dining service of the School of Early Childhood Education and Primary Ntra. Sra. De la Asunción on October 9, invited the entire educational community of our municipality: schools, parents' associations, the AMPAS Federation, parents, students and any citizen of our municipality who wishes to express their rejection of violence.

The Alcantarilla City Council made an appeal to all our neighbors, so that it becomes clear that our locality rejects and condemns this, and any other, act of violence that occurred in the aforementioned school.

Violence is a fact that should never be present in our society and that should be eradicated from it.

The Manifesto that Marta has transferred to all the participants, several hundred have been able to be counted and that has been prepared by her, facilitating the same:

MARTA MANIFESTO AGAINST VIOLENCE

"Good afternoon and thank you for your assistance.I have a degree in Fine Arts, I was working and preparing competitions to be a teacher, when both activities were interrupted by the events that happened to me on October 9. For this, for all the support I have received, from the beginning, different estates, people known and unknown who have told me:

"Marta you are a brave, this kind of facts can not be silenced."

For my conscience and because I hope to be a teacher in the future I can not keep silent.

I see our society as a range of colors, made up of people of different races, cultures, beliefs ... .., but PEOPLE.

After today, I will stop, I will not sleep, I need to recover both physically and psychologically.

But first, I ask that we all condemn and not allow violent acts, whether physical, verbal, gestural, harassment or social isolation.

This society needs a VERY serious reflection of politicians, parents, students, legislators, ...... ..

It can NOT be allowed that because you do not break a bone or do not give you points it is considered MISSING LIGHT.

What are we transmitting and communicating to our children that we want to educate?

The message is clear: Listen if you commit an aggression typified as a minor offense and if above you are underage you can do what you want that nothing will happen to you.

NO PLEASE, THIS MESSAGE DOES NOT, THIS MESSAGE DOES NOT.

We need all support for human rights.

We are people and humanity does not contemplate violence in society or in the educational system.

I condemn any act of violence, above all we are people, dress as we see, think as we think, come from where we come.

Finally, I want to thank the support given to the City Council, the Ministry of Education, the Police, the 112, the media, the people I know, whom I do not know.

For they have given me the strength to be able to raise my voice and to be able to make this demonstration as a culmination where I can say very strongly: NO TO VIOLENCE.

EDUCATION AND RESPECT IN OUR SOCIETY.

Many thanks".
