The Municipal Socialist Group in the City Sewer, reported that the Team Popular Party government is making orange replacing the dangerous and prohibited plant known as Baladre or Adelfa.
The Socialist Party spokesman, Gabriel Esturillo, asks "from which irresponsible policy or professional view can justify the change by baladres orange?".
Esturillo says "it is irresponsible from an economic perspective, since the orange trees are planted from very recently, bringing the expenditure is amortized in any way, and it is irresponsible from the legal section and public health, as the baladre is considered highly toxic, according to the Order SCO / 190/2004 of 28 January (list of plants whose sale to the public is restricted for reasons of toxicity).
Socialist spokesman considered foolhardy to place within the reach of any neighbor, whether adults or children, this poisonous plant. "It is matched by law as to their dangerousness, other plants such as hemlock, belladonna or Jimson weed, and one of the ways in which they have planted is the Roman road, where hundreds of teenagers pass daily route to his school ".
The Socialist Group intends to submit emergency motion to request the immediate cessation of these tasks planting and the immediate withdrawal of what has been planted so far.
Esturillo confident that the government team immediately cease this dangerous task of planting. "The health of our neighbors is at stake and rectification must be immediate," concludes Esturillo.
