Minute of Silence in Sewell and flags at half mast for the attacks and the victims of Brussels (23/03/2016)

At noon today the Plaza de San Pedro, opposite the City Sewer, like the rest of the municipalities of Spain, following the instructions of the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, has kept a respectful moment of silence, as shown rejection and condemnation of the attacks, showing the population Sewer mourning for the dead and their solidarity and support to the injured and families of those affected, expressing sympathy for the victims of the attacks in Brussels.

The call made by the Mayor of Sewell, Joaquín Buendía, attended by members of the Municipal Corporation, as well as a large group of municipal public employees, along with a large number of neighbors who have come to the meeting as a sign of condemnation and abhorrence.

Acts as they said the Mayor of Sewell, Joaquín Buendía, deserve our strongest rejection and condemnation, reaffirming our unwavering commitment to life, peace, freedom and dignity of all human beings.

As testimony to the pain of the Spanish Nation, uniting ourselves to it, before the criminal attacks perpetrated in Brussels yesterday morning, the flags are flying from yesterday at midnight at half mast and black ribbons, as well as interiors City Hall, and so is the Spain flag waving at half mast at the Adolfo Suarez plaza, until 24:00 hours of Thursday.
