| They promote a time bank among neighbors to improve conciliation and a social and labor insertion program for Roma people in San José Worker | The Fundación Secretariado Gitano and the Obra Social Marista de Alcantarilla collaborate with the City Council in the development of two participatory social actions of the project 'Historias de Barrio' in the neighborhood of the San José Obrero area.

The Obra Social Marista de Alcantarilla has launched a time bank to improve the reconciliation of families, strengthen neighborhood participation and generate networks of mutual support among the residents of the neighborhood, one of the main lines of action n of the program.

The Gypsy Secretariat Foundation has started the 'Sakai Romi' program to promote the social and labor insertion of Roma people over 30 years of age and to fight against discrimination, especially among women.

'Neighborhood stories' is a social project developed by the Alcantarilla City Council in the San José Obrero neighborhood, with the aim of transforming the environment, improving living conditions and increasing the level of social and labor insertion through of the participation of the neighbors themselves in the actions and decisions that are put in place.

The City Council, in addition, has the collaboration of other entities of the Third Sector, public institutions and associations, such as C ritas Di cesis de Cartagena, Copedeco, Asociaci n Puente, Centro de Salud Alcantarilla- Sangonera, CEIP San José Obrero and Asedi.

The project is part of the Participatory Local Development Pacts and is financed by the Regional Operational Program of the European Social Fund, with more than 409,000 euros for the period 2019-2022.
