One hundred percent of the residents and employees of the Virgen de la Salud Municipal Residence in Alcantarilla have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine today.

Throughout the day 83 people have been vaccinated, of which 49 are residents and 34 employees, that is, all people who live or work in the residence.

As established in the protocol, the second dose will be administered on January 28, 21 days after the administration of the first vaccine.

The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaqu n Buend a, visited the residence and pointed out that "we received the arrival of this first dose as very good news, since since the beginning of the pandemic we have been very aware of the elders of our residence, in which, fortunately, no case of Covid-19 has yet been registered ".
