| At the end of this year they will move to Calle Mayor, on the corner of Calle Ignacio López Lacal, about 50 meters from City Hall | The Alcantarilla City Council will have a new user service office, where citizens will be able to carry out their procedures in the Central Registry, the Population Register and the procedures of the Municipal Cemetery. These services will be moved at the end of the year to the new location, on Calle Mayor, on the corner of Calle Ignacio López Lacal, about 50 meters from the Town Hall. The new space consists of 174 square meters, which are divided into two rooms and will have an access point to the electronic headquarters, to carry out online procedures. The main room is dedicated to the Registry, with four citizen service posts.

In the other, the management of the Register and the Cemetery service will be located, which will have three positions. This is the first of the actions that the City Council will carry out to bring the Administration closer to the user, improve the service.

It is also planned to continue expanding the General Registry with a new office that will open in the Campoamor neighborhood next year. More than 16,000 files processed So far this year the City Council has processed 16,286 files, of which 12,575 have been managed in person, through the Central Registry and the Single Window, and 3,711 electronically, through the electronic headquarters. Among the procedures most demanded by Single Window, that is, those that depend on other administrations but can be managed from the City Council, is the issuance of the large family title, which has been processed 199 since January 1, and the licenses of hunting and river fishing, which have been requested 52. Currently it is necessary to request an appointment to carry out any face-to-face procedure with the City Council, through the website www.alcantarilla.es/cita-previa or by calling 968 89 52 22, for the Citizen Service Office, and 968 89 80 65 for Social Services.

The only exception is discharges by birth, which can be obtained immediately and without prior appointment, to facilitate the assignment of the family doctor.
