| The City Council's platform allows the teleworking of more than a hundred public employees and the holding of Government Boards, Contracting Tables and safe and legal Plenary Sessions | The Alcantarilla City Council continues to work with the electronic administration platform Gestiona, which was launched in March 2017, and which allows public employees to access all electronic documentation, process a document or sign it electronically from any computer with internet or through the smartphone or tablet, and which guarantees that the procedures are entirely electronic, from the request to the moment of notification.The Governing Board approved this week to initiate the renewal of this electronic management service for administrative activity.

Alcantarilla was a pioneer in the full implementation of electronic administration in the Region of Murcia.The platform makes it possible for more than a hundred public employees to start teleworking from anywhere on a regular basis from the start of the alarm, both at the server and document manager levels.

In addition, public employees hold virtual meetings.Likewise, it allows the holding of Government Boards, Contracting Tables, Information Commissions and Plenary sessions in a virtual way, fulfilling all the requirements contained in the modification of Law 7/1985 regulating the bases of the local regime.The system identifies all councilors who participate in virtual meetings of collegiate bodies, since attendees must access with their password, certifies that all attendees are in Spanish territory, since it detects the location and IP of the computer, allows the holding virtual plenary sessions that can be publicly broadcast, and enables access to municipal files and the holding, from the platform, of videoconferences related to those files.

Within the management system, the meetings are held through a videoconference application and the sessions of public collegiate bodies, such as the Plenary, can be transmitted on Facebook Live or Workplace by Facebook.System awarded for Innovation in AdministrationThe Autonomous Community distinguished the Alcantarilla City Council last year with the Award for Innovation in Administration for the use of the VidSigner electronic signature system, which began in April 2018, for public contracts, agreements, contracts for new public employees and Takeover of officials, allowing the digital signature of all those documents by people outside the City Council.

With this procedure, users of the Municipal Registry can also digitally sign their documents when they go to any office in the municipal offices.Currently, the City Council is working on bringing the signature to the home for people who have mobility difficulties (elderly, dependent or disabled).In addition to saving paper, electronic administration reduces the workload of public employees.
