The City Council of Sewer and Civil Protection join the initiative to collect snorkel masks and take them to health centers to adapt them and use them as respirators, in order to save lives.

Civil Protection of Alcantarilla collects the masks in the homes of citizens who want to donate them, calling 629005383 or sending an email to proteccioncivil@ayto-alcantarilla.es.

In addition, Civil Protection is collaborating in the transfer of the masks and gowns that a hundred volunteers are sewing from Alcantarilla, Barqueros and surroundings to hospitals and health centers, with fabric donated by the Alcantarilla City Council, and the collaboration of companies Lora pillows and Brisa Jardín de Barqueros;

and its volunteers help shop for elderly people from Alcantarilla who live alone so that they do not go outside.
