The City Council offers a wide program of online activities "#AlcantarillaSeQuedaEnCasa" to help citizens spend a more pleasant quarantine and stay at home.
These are videos that are being uploaded to the YouTube channel of the City Council and to the social networks of the different Councils with various themes such as sports classes (zumba, Body Pump, Gap, Pilates, squats, warm-up ...), cooking videos, crafts and training actions.
Every day new content is uploaded to social networks.
Restaurants, teachers, dance academies and gyms in the municipality collaborate in this initiative, and it is having great success since some of the videos have around 2,000 views.
The sports content can be consulted on the YouTube channel of the City Council and on the Facebook page of the Department of Sports of Alcantarilla, where there are also videos of chess initiation.
Other activities that can be carried out are cooking classes taught by chefs from Alcantarilla restaurants, through the Facebook page of the Local Development Agency of the Alcantarilla City Council;
contests, crafts and storytelling, through the Facebook page of the Department of Education, Culture and Youth;
Challenge of the municipality's dance academies, through the Instagram of the Alcantarilla City Council, and music every afternoon, starting at 18:30, from the Facebook page of the municipal radio station Radio Sintonía.
The activities are for the whole family and a schedule with the programmed initiatives and the place where the videos are hosted is published on the social networks of the City Council every week.
