The Alcantarilla City Council has donated material and has organized a solidarity campaign to manufacture masks, in the face of the need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
The masks will be donated to the Ministry of Health for distribution.
Sewer and Boatmen seamstresses are participating altruistically in the initiative, who have promoted a group of more than 50 people who are already making masks.
The Almohadas Lora company is also collaborating with the donation of material and the manufacture of masks.

Cleaning and disinfection continues on all streets
The City Council continues to work on the cleaning and disinfection of all the streets of Alcantarilla with hydro-cleaning equipment on the points and areas that due to their characteristics are of special risk of contamination by the virus.
The service has been increased with four vats for fumigation, two of them of 2,000 liters with an atomizer and the other two with hoses to get closer to the doors of supermarkets, pharmacies, health centers, etc.
The disinfection teams will go through all the streets of the municipality with the dissolution of water and sodium hypochlorite that the Ministry of Health recommends.
