The Alcantarilla City Council held today an extraordinary Government Meeting where the adoption of new measures in the municipal services for the containment of the Covid-19 epidemic was approved, in the period between today, March 12, and March 31 .
Among them is that activities will not be authorized, and those scheduled will be suspended, in the main hall and in the hall of mirrors of the Infanta Elena Cultural Center, in the Municipal Historical Archive, in the Huerta Museum and in the Center hall of Citizen Participation.
Yes, the current exhibitions in these spaces and the Huerta Museum itself will be allowed, provided that the number of simultaneous visitors does not exceed 20.
Access to study is restricted to the rooms of the Municipal Library except for book loan procedures.
The weekly markets of Wednesdays in the municipality are suspended.
As for civil weddings that are celebrated in the Plenary Hall of the City Hall or in the Museum of the Huerta, the number of attendees is limited to 20.
The Mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, has asked the residents of Alcantarilla for their collaboration, "following all the hygiene advice and measures put in place by the administrations, to prevent the spread of Covid-19".

The number of visits to the Virgen de la Salud Residence and the Pedro Hernández Caballero Day Center is restricted to one visitor per user and with a maximum of 20 simultaneous visits.
In addition, the Senior Podiatry Service is suspended at the Diego Cubillana Senior Center at IMAS, at the Virgen de la Salud Residence and at the Pedro Hernández Caballero Day Center.
This service is maintained at the Campoamor Senior Center and at the San José Obrero Comprehensive Center.
Any extraordinary activity at the San José Obrero Integral Center is also suspended.
Social Work Unit number 5, UTS 5, is transferred from the Pedro Hernández Caballero Day Stay Center to the Social Services offices.
Sport activities
All activities in the Municipal Pool are suspended.

All sports activities are also suspended in the Municipal Pavilions, as well as team activities in the Ángel Sornichero and Manuel Ruiz Pérez sports facilities.
In addition, school visits to the Road Education Park are suspended.

In the municipal services of attention to the public only a number of waiting users will be allowed, inside the corresponding dependency, which allows a minimum separation of 1.5 meters between them and with the municipal employees.
