The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, and the general director of Sports, Francisco Sánchez, today received the cadet team and the students of the Alcantarilla ECA Cycling Cycling School.

Buendía highlighted "the successes and the exciting work of this young team that although it has little time to live already has an important sports projection".

The cadet team, El Nieto del Lobo-Nutriban has as technical directors José Carrillo Martínez, José Luis Matencio Escolar and Francisco Vidal Sánchez, and has seven runners from Alcantarilla, Fuente Álamo, Yecla, Lorca and Murcia.

In the cycling school there are five students.

In the act, the professional cyclist of the Alcantarilla, Antonio Jesús Soto, runner of the Euskadi Foundation team, handed the mayor a jersey.

The president of the Club, José Ibáñez, participated in the meeting;

the president of the Cycling Federation, Sergio Martínez;

the Road Cycling coach, Juan Miguel Pérez;

and the Councilor for Sports of the City of Alcantarilla, Antonio Martínez.
