The Magi from the East were received this morning by hundreds of children from Alcantarilla, who were looking forward to delivering their letter.
Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar arrived on time, at 10:30 am, in Aviocar to the Alcantarilla Air Base where they were received by the Colonel Chief, Francisco Javier Fernández, and the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía.
Subsequently, the Kings, along with their pages, offered a Royal Reception in Adolfo Suarez Square, where the little ones were able to greet them and deliver their letters.
In addition, the children enjoyed animation and were able to taste Roscón de Reyes.
Once the reception ends, the Magi moved to the "Virgen de la Salud" Nursing Home and to the San José Viamed Hospital, to visit the residents and the sick.
The Great Cavalcade will put this afternoon the final touch to the route of the Magi by Alcantarilla.
The royal parade will begin at 6:30 p.m., from the Plaza de España, in front of Hero, and will travel along the main street, to end in the Termino street, next to the roundabout of the Air Base Aviocar.
The ride will involve about 350 people and the performances of the Infinity Roller Club with a star show, and the Sherezade academies with a performance of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", New Steps and the Campoamor Dance Academy, with a show On Aladdin, the Sara Dance Academy will bring reindeer magic and Carmen Bernal's magic to the eastern pages.
The floats of the Magi, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar, embodied by the president of the Jairis Basketball Club, Mariano Vivancos;
the technical director of the Nutribán Alcantarilla Athletic Society, Juan Carlos Abellán;
and the team coach of the 2nd Women's Division, La Boca Te Lía Futsal Alcantarilla, Edmundo Bosio "Eddy", respectively, will close the ride with candy delivery.
