Around 200 people have participated in the "Garbage" initiative, an Ecoembes campaign, in collaboration with the Alcantarilla City Council, for garbage collection in natural areas.
The campaign has been carried out all week and has had the participation of the students of the special education center Eusebio Martínez, Afade, the Enfoque association, Scout group of San Roque, the Gavva association and the Neighborhood Coordinator.
The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, participated in the collection of garbage in the Rambla de Las Zorreras, next to the Scout group of San Roque and the Enfoque and Gavva associations.
Garbage has been collected throughout the week at the Agua Salá site, wooded area in Las Tejeras and Las Zorreras waterfront.
