The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, attended yesterday the inauguration of zone 201, a new alternative exhibition space in the municipality managed by Amando Fundición de Arte.
The room is located in a nave of more than 400 meters, located in the West Industrial Estate, dedicated to promoting the works of artists from the Region.
During the event a live demonstration of the creative process was held for the realization of a work by the artist Lidó Rico, in lost wax casting.
In the space the interaction between plastic and cultural disciplines with specialized workshops taught by the participating artists is facilitated.
In addition, the project aims to promote the works of artists and artisans of the Region, establishing international commercial relations.
In zone 201 there are works by Salvador Torres, Fernando Sáenz de Elorrieta, Raquel Kakon, Ramón Garza, José Planes, Raimundo Folch de los Santos, Anabel del Canto, Pottery Larios, José Biesa, Álvaro Peña, Miriam Albasini, Amando Arts, Antonio García Mengual, Juan Antonio Marín, Sofía Tornero, Carlos Callizo, Manolo Peñalver, José Molera, Luis Gómez Mateos, Antonio Rosa Barbero, Lidó Rico and Amparo Alegría, among others.
