The acts have begun with the reading of a manifesto in the Plaza de San Pedro and a minute of silence for the victims of gender violence.
In addition, a large purple bow has been hung on the balcony of the Town Hall as a symbol of the fight against gender violence.
The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, said that "the Center for Attention to Women and Victims of Gender Violence, the Department of Social Welfare, Family and Women of the City of Alcantarilla, attended, from January to October of this year, 455 women, of which 94 have been new cases. "

On the 25th, 26th, 28th and 29th of November a workshop will be held for the prevention of sexual assaults among adolescents called "If it is not a yes it is a no", "Consent through a cup of tea", for students of 4th grade of the ESO, FPI and FPII of the Salzillo, Alcántara and Sanje institutes.
On November 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., there will be a workshop on sexual affective growth and self-knowledge "I, me, me, my pleasure is mine" with the participation of the Codepeco women's group and the group of "Las cometas" women, in the auditorium of the Our Lady of Health residence.
On November 27 and December 13, a workshop for the prevention of gender violence during pregnancy at the Health Center and the Center for Citizen Participation is planned at 10:00 and 13:00.
On November 28, at 4:30 p.m., cinema-café-gathering and manifest reading was organized, with the screening of the film "A question of gender", at the Infanta Elena Cultural Center.
