The Casa Cayitas Municipal Historical Archive has hosted yesterday the exhibition 'Flamenco as an excuse', by Teresa Navarro.
The artist from Puerto Lumbreras presents a sample of drawings on the art of flamenco with the aim of awakening the senses of the viewer and also giving visibility to the vicissitudes experienced by women who dedicate themselves to this art throughout history.
The exhibition is made up of graphite and ink drawings on paper with images of bailaoras and is completed with six boxes with heel sounds characteristic of this genre, so that visitors can interact.
The sample, which is part of the Plan of Exhibition Spaces at the regional level organized by the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts (ICA) of the Autonomous Community, in collaboration with the municipalities, can be visited until November 15, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
