The City Council of Alcantarilla, through the Department of Public Safety, is repainting a hundred pedestrian crossings in the vicinity of the educational centers of the municipality in order to improve road safety for the beginning of the school year, next Friday September 6

The works are being carried out during the night to avoid inconvenience to the neighbors and to avoid having to cut off the traffic during hours of heavy traffic.

The Councilor for Public Safety, Víctor Martínez, said that "the repainting works began last week and will end next."
