CCOO reflects the concern of teachers of FP IES "Sanje" before the dismantling of vocational training offered at the facility (22/06/2015)

CCOO considers it regrettable that in the same week is announced with fanfare that are implanted in the region three new cycles of FP is communicated to a single IES, in the utmost discretion and secrecy, which will eliminate three cycles of which It has been taught.

Education collects CCOO complaint that made you reach the Association of Professors of FP IES "Sanje" Sewer in which realizes that the Ministry of Education announced the veteran Institute, dean of the FP in our region, for next year will cease to provide the following training courses:

The family of professional chemistry (Occupational historically implanted in the IES Sanje from the beginning), and ignoring the promise of implementation for next year CFGS 2015-16 cycle of Industrial Chemistry, promised by the Ministry.

Training Course Higher Level Telecommunications and Computer Systems.

Title Basic Training in Agro-gardening and flower arrangements.

Teaching CCOO considers that the alleged facts show a deliberate decision to dismantle the offer of vocational training in the town of Sewell for the benefit of private offerings.

It is what we fear may be happening precisely in Higher Grade Telecommunication Systems and Computer being offered for next year by a private entity (AMUSAL) at a cost of € 2,400 tuition for each student for the first year.

This occurs while the IES "Sanje" has already paid some facilities and for 12 years has been offering this training free of charge to recipients, with rates of employability (graduates find jobs in the first six months since titrated) over 80 %.

The "Sanje" has a (largest consolidated and updated more than 100 partner companies where students can do the Job Training Centres and the existence of this training cycle has a major impact on the Industrial West Network Region).

Teaching CCOO considers these decisions to be taken on the sly and back to the educational community, put the commitments made by the Minister of Education in the Regional Plan for Vocational Training and involve a mockery in question to the speeches in which is said to uphold public education, it is not the first time a successful training cycle is suppressed, and free for students in the public network to make it reappear in the private supply of for-profit entities.

Teaching CCOO will contact with the various political forces in the Assembly and City Sewer to try to reverse the decision of the Ministry of Education.
