ANSE condemns the disproportionate pruning 2 of the 5 trees protected by the General Sewer Plan (23/03/2015)

The Southeastern Association of Naturalists has sent a complaint to the City Sewer by the disproportionate pruning was performed two monumental trees protected by planning in Sewell.

Severe pruning has affected two of the five trees collected in the rules of PGMO

Members of the Association of Southeast Naturalists (ANSE) have detected the realization of a very severe pruning severely maimed two of the five monumental trees protected Sewer urban planning.

The said trees are listed in Article 172 of the Town Planning Regulations under the heading of trees of particular interest, despite which have done some work unjustified pruning, which experts consulted seriously compromise the viability of trees and involve short term a clear risk to the safety of persons and property.

Similarly, there has been an excessive pruning ornamental trees other municipality.

The Association asked the City Council to initiate an investigation and proceed to punish those responsible for such actions.

Also recalls the need to advance the protection of the tree heritage, as the Region of Murcia is one of the few Autonomous Communities that lacks specific legislation.
