The Murcia Muñoz Hidalgo, a new member of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de Toledo (02/10/2012)

The writer Murcia, Manuel Muñoz Hidalgo, received last Oct. 7 Academic Medal of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and Historical Sciences of Toledo.

The event, held in the Board Room of the capital of La Mancha, attended by over 200 people.

Muñoz Hidalgo, National Theatre Award Moreto Augustine said that achieving this distinction "is one of the highlights of my career."

"I feel a tremendous pride to belong to the Academy of Fine Arts on behalf of Murcia," he said.

The writer, born in 1939, has published numerous works of poetry as "empty street", "Fifty Sonnets of passion", "Seeds" and "The Jaral and stone".

It has been published in several languages ​​and recognized internationally in countries such as Sweden, Poland and Bulgaria.

In theater, Muñoz Hidalgo has over thirty works to his credit, which have caused great admiration in the world of letters: "The knowledge and renunciation", "The shaking of the flame", "The Journey" "Meeting with Miguel Cervantes", "House of Colasa" and "Grid", among others.
