Delivered prizes of the "security grows" (05/06/2012)

The campaign "Grow in Safety" is sponsored by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the City Sewer

In the morning, in the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall, the director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia, Tomas Perez Fuentes and Mayor Sewer, Mellado Lazaro Sanchez, along with the Councillor for Education, Josefa Santos Molina and director and coordinator of the campaign of the company Sico Safety Engineering and Juan Carlos Conesa Simon, participated in the prize drawing contest "GROWS IN SAFETY", a year the City Council, with the Department of Education have been developing within the campaign "Grow in Security" sponsored by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia, an agency of the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment in the Region of Murcia.

With this campaign, public entities organizers want kids to Primary 5 °, which is leading the campaign, be aware that their actions every day, at school, at home and moving from home to school, are subject to risks that may affect their safety.

That in order to avoid them is to know them and take the necessary preventive measures.

Through lectures lasting 60 minutes, taught by business professionals and Safety Engineering Sico, giving support to the campaign, I have reported these extremes, emphasizing the right of everyone to be informed about the risks of the activities performed and the necessary preventive measures to avoid bearing the risk in disaster.

The campaign grows in Security 2012 is designed to create these little habit, and accompany them throughout their lives.

Both short and long term.

And so when they enter the labor market as workers or entrepreneurs, is fulfilled in them naturally, the obligations set forth in the Law on Prevention of Occupational Risks, consisting know the risks and preventive measures of an activity, prior to its implementation and to inform and train workers on these points.

All drawings submitted have shown that children know the risks they may be exposed and the preventive measures they must use.

Thus achieving the goal of the campaign, which is simply to raise public awareness of the importance of adopting safe habits in their actions to achieve safe working environments in which no worker disrupted their physical integrity.

All schools with education Sewer Elementary have participated, in total 455 students, carrying out the campaign with 20 units.

Schools participating in this edition were: CEIP Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, CEIP Nuestra Señora de la Salud, CEIP Campoamor, CEIP Jacinto Benavente, CEIP Jara Carrillo, CEIP San Jose Obrero, CEIP The Tejeras, CEIP Vistabella, Sacred Heart School and Education Center Samaniego.

The winners were students from Primary 5 °, belonging to the CEIP winner Campoamor, Jose Antonio Duran Martinez.

CAMPAIGN "GROWS IN SAFETY" 2011-2012

The campaign is designed safety grows in the comprehension and understanding of the risks in everyday life can bear children.

So this campaign, promoted by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, is to the children in the Murcia region are aware of the hazards that are around him, both at school, as at home or on the street.

Interactive games presented in this website are intended that the child learn through play, which is able to discern and differentiate between good and bad, what can do and what not, what is dangerous to the integrity .

These graphs serve to make informed choices and choose the right solution.

The drawing competition is to check what the student has understood the talks, what is the motivation that the lab has been achieved.

Therefore, the most representative, why not the best drawn, will be awarded a prize to reward them for their good work.

Prevention is necessary to sustain our production system, and are the children from an early age recipients of this work in the belief that, through them, we will come one day to the level of zero accidents.

The talks have been aimed at students having a duration of 60 minutes, always coinciding with the schedules of the various schools, during the same have been submitted to the participating students the project "grows in security", developing following:

HOME HAZARDS: Falls, burns, bumps and falling objects, co, cuts and wounds, electricity, poisons, choking and fire.

HAZARDS AT SCHOOL: In the classroom, dining room, laboratory, gymnasium, computer room, infirmary, toilets, library and fire.

HAZARDS IN THE STREET: Walking with the moped, bicycle or in the park.

In this way students acquire effortlessly and with great interest habits of safe and responsible behavior, and "preventive culture" so necessary for the development in their daily lives, and also when they are needed later in their careers.
