The Socialist Party calls for the Sewer Department of Education to keep the school transport for pupils Sanje (26/04/2012)

The abolition of school transport would affect more than 300 students, which should reach the center on their own.

The Spokesman of the Socialist Group in the City Sewer, Jose Antonio Sabater, presented in full on Thursday 26 April, a motion urging calls to the Ministry of Education to keep busing for Sanje IES students, both during 2012-2013 as follows, under the same conditions as at present.

According to Sabater, the policy of cuts that holds the Ministry of Education will generate very complicated situations for many students and their families.

One of those cuts will occur in the lines of school transport.

For students Sanje argues Sabater, this would mean the loss of a vital resource.

"If you take the school bus, students with no possibility of their families take them to the center, must walk. This means having to cross Prince Avenue, with four lanes, climbing through the narrow sidewalks of the road Mula, and finally reach the center by a slope also no sidewalks. And that hundreds of young people at a time, so the risk is multiplied situations, "said Socialist spokesman.
