The director general of Women and Equal Opportunities, Alicia Barquero, today visited the CAVI Sewer, a center that the Community finances with 56,394 euros, and reported that in the first six months of the year, Alcantarilla professionals have made a total Of 478 psychological, legal and social services to women victims of gender violence, 9 percent more than in January and June of last year.

Also, Barquero announced that as of September the Alcantarilla is expanded the itinerant service of attention to minors exposed to gender violence, which is already provided in the municipalities of Cartagena, Lorca, Yecla, Totana, Jumilla, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cieza, Bullas, Los Alcazares and Santomera, as well as in the city of Murcia with a permanent character.
