The mayor congratulates the manager of the Blukids store, PAY2 Moda Infantil, for his recent Mercury Trade Award (17/06/2017)

Last Friday, Alcantarilla Mayor Joaquín Buendía received in his office the sewer merchant Gregorio Ruiz of PAY2 Moda Infantil with the Blukids store in Calle Mayor to congratulate him on the award granted by the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia , With the 2016 Mercury Trade Award, on the night of May 25, during "La Noche de la Economia Murciana", organized by the said Chamber, with the Mercury Awards and Business Development 2016. The reception was also attended by the councilman Of Employment, Industry, Commerce and Environment, José Antonio López Olmedo.

Among the merits that have been recognized for this Alcantarilla trade, it stands out its long history, with 23 years dedicated to the trade in children's fashion, 21 of them in Alcantarilla.

This trade obtained in 2000 the ISO 9.000 certification, being one of the first trades of Europe in obtaining such certification of quality.

Throughout all these years, training and innovation have always been present in their daily lives.

In the past 2016 they made a significant investment to modernize, with a change of image and improvement in logistics, in order to remain competitive, for this they have had the collaboration of the Italian giant OVS that is responsible for sourcing and logistics Of the establishment.

These changes have allowed that in this last season of autumn-winter have obtained a volume of sales of more than 8,000 garments, a figure unthinkable with its previous model of store.

The jury of the Mercury Awards, awarded by the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia, has been able to assess the adaptation of this business over time, and above all, after the economic crisis.

In the course of 'The Night of the Economy of Murcia' was awarded the Business Development Award 2016 to the Grupo Logístico Fuentes, and the Mercury Awards in different categories.

Thus, the Mercury Export Prize was for Ecus Sleep, Tintas Martínez Ayala, and a mention for the president of World Trade Point Federation.

In the field of Tourism Promotion, the restaurant Fuentes del Marqués was awarded and received a mention by the City of Murcia for the celebration of the 750th anniversary of the Council.

The Mercury Industry Award went to Láser Molina;

In the category of Service Companies was for Correduría de Seguros Vélez Ortiz;

In Handicrafts for Jesús Gómez Alegría.

The Mercury Prize for Commerce was for Bakery José Antonio, also for Pay2 and was awarded a mention by the Association of Merchants of Los Alcazares.
