The Civil Guard of Murcia has developed the operation 'AROMA2', an investigation to prosecute the illegal cultivation of marijuana, which has led to the arrest of a person for the crime of drug trafficking.

In the search carried out on a ship of the industrial estate West Sewer it has dismantled a clandestine greenhouse dedicated to intensive cultivation of cannabis sativa, consisting of 250 plants, all tools used for this illegal activity, as well as six kilograms of marijuana ready for distribution and consumption of hashish and 500 grams.

As part of the research carried out with the aim of preventing and prosecuting drug trafficking, specialized civil guards in prevention of public safety began the operation to have evidence of the existence of a point for the production of large quantities of marijuana led by a person frequently linked to this illegal activity.

The investigation allowed the agents to locate the headquarters of the crop in a ship of the industrial estate West, in Sewell, so a monitoring device on the property and the suspect for the purpose of gathering evidence to dismantle illicit drug cultivation was established .
