Alcantarilla will host, on Wednesday, September 25, the final of the IX President Indoor Soccer Cup, which will face ElPozo Murcia and Jimbee Cartagena.
The final will be held in the Fausto Vicent pavilion, which has a capacity of 1,100 people, at 9:00 p.m.
The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, the president of the indoor soccer committee of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, Luciano Herrero;
the president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in the Region, Manuel Molina;
the general director of ElPozo Murcia, Fran Serrejón, and the general director of Jimbee Cartagena, Juan Giménez, presented this competition that will be played by the two main futsal teams in the Region.
1,100 tickets will be on sale at a price of 2 euros and all proceeds will go to the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
Tickets can be purchased at the Avelino Alcantarilla optics, at the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, at the headquarters of the two clubs and at the box office on game day.
Buendía stressed that "Alcantarilla is a municipality that bets on sport and that has a lot of relationship with futsal, so it is the second time that the municipality hosts the celebration of this final. The previous time was in the seventh edition, which it was held in 2017 ".
In addition, he recalled that recently the municipality was the headquarters of the President's Cup for women's futsal, which won the Ucam-ElPozo Murcia.
