One more year as every first Wednesday of the month of June since 1979, the group of people with kidney diseases commemorates the National Day of the Organ Donor to honor all those donors and their families who with their altruistic gesture have contributed to saving lives.
The Association of Aid to the Renal Sick, ADAER, has chosen Alcantarilla to commemorate and sensitize the citizens in this day the importance of being a donor and disseminate the great work that this Association carries out every day, installing an information table today and at the same time attracting new donors.
The acting mayor of Alcantarilla Joaquín Buendía, has had the opportunity to receive this information from the president in Murcia, Dolores Guzmán, at the table installed in the Plaza de la Constitución along with other members of this group.
Meeting at that time also the president of FAMDIF in the Region of Murcia, Carmen Gil.
Today, many entities, like ADAER, take to the streets to promote organ donation, as well as inform the population so that they can know first hand the steps to follow in order to obtain their donor card.
