The afternoon of the Mercury Awards for the year 2018 granted by the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia, had special significance the municipality of Sewer, since the six Mercury Awards that were awarded went to three companies located in our town, in the Industrial West , specifically the Export for Commercial J. Huete, SL;
al Comercio for Gispert, General de Informática y Control, SLU and the Industry for Tonelería Herfe, SL;
joining them also with a Special Mention in the Craft Prize, Zona201, led by Amando Fundirmetal.
The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, had the opportunity to accompany them at the Murcian Economy Night and took the opportunity to congratulate them on these distinctions, which year after year the companies pursue, for being a reference rewards for the industry and trade of the Region of Murcia, already fulfilling these awards of the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia its forty edition.
The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, has also conveyed this congratulation and congratulations to the president of the Association of Employers of the Industrial West, Antonio Castillo, for the work they do in visualizing the amount of work of the large companies that exist in the Polygon and that day by day they undertake with their effort and work, the generation of wealth and employment for our municipality.
José Moreno Riquelme, manager and owner of the Molinense sweetener solutions company Zukán, SLU, was awarded the Business Development Award of the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia, corresponding to the year 2018. This award is given annually by the Murcian business corporation as personal recognition of the trajectory of entrepreneurs who have stood out for their contribution and commitment to the economic and social development of the Region of Murcia.
The Chamber chaired by Miguel López Abad, gave his Mercury Awards, which are celebrating their 40th edition, to companies that are distinguished by their excellence in various fields of activity, according to the criteria of their own business partners, these were the following:
Mercurio Export Award: Comercial J. Huete, SL
- Special Mention for Luis Sánchez García e Hijas, SL "La Pastora".
Mercurio al Comercio Award: Gispert, General of Computing and Control, SLU
Special Mention for the Association of Merchants of Yecla.
Mercury Award for Tourism Promotion: Gastronomía del Sol, SL
- Special Mention for the Hotel and Tourism Association of Águilas
Mercury Award to Industry: Tonelería Herfe, SL
Mercury Award to Service Companies: Orvipal Trans, SL
Mercury Award for Crafts: Xingular Design.
