[The expectation is created with the excavations in the Aqueduct of the Noria de Alcantarilla.

This weekend 250 people will follow the six new guided tours] | Tomorrow Saturday will be 125 visits and the other 125 on Sunday |

On Saturday, February 23, the first groups began to make guided visits to the excavations at the Noria aqueduct, where the well-known acequia de "La Cequeta" starts and runs, with information from archaeologist Juan Antonio Ramírez, who direct the excavations.

175 people have already spent the previous days to contemplate this jewel that was covered by the land contributions of the ravine.

This next Saturday and Sunday six new groups with 250 people registered will make these six guided visits to know the current situation in which the aqueduct is located.

So far it was the forecast made of visits, but the interest shown by the neighbors, not only Sewer, but also the entire Region, has created a new waiting list of more than 200 people, so they will have to be expanded in the month of April.

The 27 arches, the 26 that were already known, have been excavated almost in their totality, plus the one that has been discovered after the excavations, being found in the site of the Huerto garden next to the aqueduct of the XV-XVI century, Roman walls, coins and ceramic of diverse invoice that testify the Roman occupation in this area of ​​the garden.

The sewers and visitors will be able to contemplate the excavation of the Aqueduct of the Arcos de la Noria, which are being discovered, next to the planned park within a period of no later than this summer, after hundreds of half-buried years, providing night lighting, being built an outdoor amphitheater with the arches of the aqueduct as a background, for performing arts, music and other activities, for some 400 to 500 people.

All these works are being carried out to execute the remodeling project of the Huerta Museum, with a large park covering 25,000 square meters, with accessibility in all its set with adapted roads and will have an area of ​​children's games of integration on a area of ​​about 1000 square meters.

For the youngest, a square skate will be built for skateboard lovers, and a "Street Workout" zone for calisthenics training.

As in previous performances, there is also a canine park of more than 1200 square meters with "agility" elements and a kiosk-bar with terrace.

The project includes the installation of led lighting throughout the park and urban furniture (banks, bins ...), as well as tree planting that will increase the existing one.
