The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Adela Martínez-Cachá, accompanied by the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, attended today the events organized by the Samaniego school in the town on the occasion of International Women's Day.
Martínez-Cachá congratulated the students who participated in the activities, as well as the educational community and all the centers of the Region that "have joined this day so indicated, because each grain of sand is one more step to achieve equality "
The high school students of the Samaniego school presented the work they have done on the occasion of Women's Day.
In addition, a 5-minute video made by the students about women who have marked the story was screened, and the students participated in a debate about the role of women in different professions.
