Alcantarilla makes an appeal to raise awareness about Zero Discrimination, on March 6, a day that is celebrated around the world (06/03/2019)

Today March 6 on the International Day of Zero Discrimination, from the Center for Special Education "Eusebio Martinez" and the City of Sewer, through the Department of Education, another year has made an appeal to raise awareness by # cerodiscrimination.

The "Zero Discrimination" Day represents an opportunity to remember that everyone can take part in the transformation to an egalitarian and fairer society for groups at risk of social exclusion, as there is no doubt that welcoming and receiving them with open arms Diversity in all its forms strengthens social cohesion for the benefit of all.

In the morning today, with the assistance of the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, accompanied by the Councilor for Education, Juan Manuel Gómez and assisting 370 students from Las Tejeras, Eusebio Martínez, Jacinto Benavente, Jara Carrillo, Campoamor and Our Lady of Health, have had the opportunity to share with the students of the School of Special Education "Eusebio Martínez", the staging of the Musical "The book of the jungle", aimed at the Primary students of the schools of our municipality.

Tomorrow, Thursday at 12:00, again in the Cultural Center "Infanta Elena", we will have the assistance of 345 students from the schools Samaniego, Jacinto Benavente, and Jara Carrillo.

The adaptation of Kipling's work has been made by Pepe Ferrer.

The adventure of Mowgly "is the source of inspiration that has laid the path to follow, because it represents, among other concepts, the most important of this show:" LA DIVERSIDAD "with the variety of species that inhabit the jungle and the importance of each of them.

With the slogan "In the jungle all are important from the ant to the elephant", the characters of this musical take us into the jungle to talk about the importance of diversity and the value of the individual and their effort in union with the group.

The women of the sewing workshop of El Campico Workshop House have collaborated in the making of the costumes, strengthening, if possible, the values ​​of solidarity and cooperation.

Another of the important collaborations to stage the spaces and accesses of the Cultural Center "Infanta Elena", with happened in previous editions by the schools themselves, this time has been decorated by the Jara Carrillo and Samaniego School.
